Your Dedicated Doula (YDD) was created because of the want and need of parents to get more involved in the choosing of their postpartum care. YDD knows how important it is to have a strong connection with your Doula at such a vulnerable time in one’s life and therefore our goal is to match you with a doula that fits all your postpartum care needs.



The goal of YDD is to match new parents with the perfect doula for their family structure and budget. The objective of YDD is to take away the overwhelming stress of finding the perfect doula that will help ensure a smooth and seamless transition into your postpartum journey. We do all the work for you!



Boutique Source for Parents

Your Dedicated Doula is a boutique source for parents who can determine their own level of service and budget by specifying in detail the experience, training and personality of their dedicated doula. YDD provides parents with qualified doulas for them to interview to make a final selection.

We Vet All Participating Doulas

As a referral service that allows parents to be part of the process, our clients postpartum needs are analyzed and met by providing parents with options that best fits their needs and budget. Traditional doula services do not give parents a choice of the doula with whom they work with. Once our clients have chosen their perfect doula through YDD, clients and doulas can move forward seamlessly into their new partnership.

YDD completely vets all participating doulas, including background checks, confirmation of vaccination and training certifications. By retaining a doula through YDD, you have the security and peace of mind of knowing that whomever you select, that individual has been completely vetted by a highly experienced team of professional doulas lead by Mary B. Flynn, president of Your Dedicated Doula before you are even introduced.

For New Parents

The goal of Your Dedicated Doula is to match new parents with the perfect doula for their situation and family structure while ensuring a smooth and seamless transition into parenthood.

For Professional Doulas

Professional Doulas who are selected to be part of the Your Dedicated Doula (YDD) Association will receive a source for pre-screened clients, specialized resources and updated training.

Selecting Your Doula

To be part of Your Dedicated Doula, a professional doula must complete an extensive application after which the agency does a thorough background check to assure she is fully vetted.
